Pisa has an International Airport served by about 20 Airline Companies with several connections in Europe. See the flight time table. The Pisa Airport is located close to the city centre. You can reach the workshop location (Piazza dei Cavalieri) by taxi or by bus.

The average fare for a taxi ride in the centre of Pisa is about 8 to 10 EUR (plus and additional fee of 2,30 EUR on Sundays and Bank Holidays). At the Airport, the taxi stands in front of the air terminal exit, arrivals side (Radio Taxi, tel: +39 050 541600).

There are frequent bus connections from the airport to the Pisa Centre. Take the Red LAM (LAM rossa) line and stop at Torre (Leading Tower, Field of Miracles), from which you can reach Piazza dei Cavalieri by foot in 5 minutes. See further the timetable of LAM rossa departures from the Airport.

Several trains coming from North and South of Italy stop at Pisa Central Station (Pisa Centrale). There are also many connections between Florence Stations and Pisa Centrale (approximately one hour trip). See the timetable of the Italian Railways.

From Pisa Centrale you can reach the workshop location (Piazza dei Cavalieri) either by taxi, bus or by foot. Taxi stop is just in front of the Station (Radio Taxi, tel: +39 050 541600). Bus: take the Red LAM (LAM rossa) line towards San Jacopo and stop at Torre (Leading Tower, Field of Miracles), from which you can reach Piazza dei Cavalieri by foot in 5 minutes. Piazza dei Cavalieri is approximately at 15-20 minutes by foot from the Pisa Central Station and it is a nice walk through the city centre (see the map on the right).

Coming from North on the highway A12, exit at "Pisa Nord" and follow the direction "Pisa Centro"; coming from South on the same highway exit at "Pisa Centro" and follow the direction "Pisa Centro". Coming from Florence on S.G.P. FI-PI-LI, exit at Pisa Aeroporto and follow the direction "Pisa Centro". The access to the workshop location (Piazza dei Cavalieri) is restricted to vehicles with a special permit. Thus, it is recommended to arrange parking at the hotel. All the hotels in the list in the "Hotel info" page are located at a walking distance from Piazza dei Cavalieri.
